About Me → I am a BACP registered counsellor trained in attachment-based therapy which focuses on our close relationships with others, our attachments and how to better understand our behaviour from our formative relationships.
"The quality of the counselling I received surpasses anything that I have encountered in privately funded establishments on other occasions. I cannot say thank you enough for helping me climb out of the black hole left after my lifetime soulmate died suddenly at the tender age of 50. I still have much pain and grief but feel better equipped to deal with it following my referral to this service by the NHS GP. It is warming to see large community conscious companies like Ford donating and I am hopeful that other organisations will follow."
"I have received counselling recently with Sophie after the death of my father in December last year. Sophie was amazing, so easy to open up and and it was brilliant just being able to talk things through and come to terms with what happened, including the all the feelings associated with bereavement. Sophie was a great help in me understanding that all the other feelings were quite normal as well and bereavement is not just about feeling sad. We were able to examine what was a complex and difficult relationship and also delve into the way that this relationship and this loss has affected my current relationships. The centre were also very accommodating to my full time work commitments which can be difficult with these types of services."
“The programme helped me in my personal development by breaking down important elements of my relationships. The sessions helped me most when when we would discuss my feelings”
